Osteopathic treatment of people

Warfield Osteopathy is conveniently situated in the North of Bracknell,(about 5 minutes from Bracknell town centre, (near Ascot and Wokingham and within easy reach of J3 M3)  treating all ages, and occupations - from desk/computer workers to those with manual jobs and the retired.

The practice is run by Michelle Henfrey, an experienced Osteopath who also works at the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine  teaching Clinical Skills and supervising students in the osteopathic teaching clinic.

Treatments are very individual. Joint manipulation ("cracking") is an option, not mandatory as  a variety of techniques are used (including ultrasound and some very gentle "cranial" techniques) to release tight muscles and joints, and treat sprained joints.

Here are some problems that respond well to osteopathic treatment:

  • back pain relief (low back, pelvis, and upper back)
  • neck and shoulder pain and stiffness, some of which may be giving headaches
repetitive stress or over use, eg wrist, elbow and shoulder problems
  • pain from "trapped" or inflammed nerves, eg sciatica
  • some symptoms of "wear and tear" to joints
  • minor sports injuries
  • hip, knee and foot problems
  • muscle and ligament strains and sprains
  • backache due to altered posture in pregnancy
  • treatment of shoulder problems, eg  rotator cuff injury

And much more, please ask!
